PRESS RELEASE – Jonathan Curshen
Source: ForRelease.com
Date: 12/09/2004
World Famous Asset Protection Specialist, Jonathan Curshen, Looks At Economic Citizenship in St. Kitts and Nevis
BASSETERRE, ST. KITT’S, Dec. 9 /PRNewswire/ — Jonathan Curshen is a consultant in the area of international asset protection. He is a member of ITPA (International Tax Planners Association) and APOI (Asia Pacific Offshore Institute). He specializes in offshore asset management, global investing, worldwide banking, and investment strategy and counseling. It is his business to know what you need in order to utilize the valuable tools of offshore asset management and protection.
A simple real estate investment in a foreign country could make it safer for you to travel, provide a safe haven and offer the benefits of a sound real estate investment? As we entered the new century, the sense of security began to erode due to devaluation in the stock market and an increasingly turbulent political atmosphere. It is no longer as safe as it was to be a citizen of the USA or a US ally.
There are unknown small countries that maintain neutrality in international affairs. Citizens of these countries rarely, if ever, are targeted by hostile groups. They freely travel the world without worry for their safety. By becoming a citizen of such a country you can enjoy the benefits of dual citizenship.
Most governments recognize the rights of their citizens to hold dual citizenship. Usually it is a long process of residence in a foreign land for years, or qualifying due to ancestral birthright. St. Kitts and Nevis has in existence one the oldest and most respected economic citizenship programs currently available. By investing in a piece of property in an island paradise you can have citizenship in a secure country while enjoying the benefits of owning property there.
Investing in a qualifying property for a minimum of $250,000.00 USD, submitting the government and a due diligence fee and the proper application, is eligible for citizenship. Each applicant must go through a due diligence process. Secondly you are purchasing property in a beautiful Caribbean setting, which you can use as a vacation home, retirement, or relocate to a very viable economic environment with well educated, English speaking population. There are various tax incentive programs, like 15 year tax breaks for repatriated profits.
If you want to know more about dual citizenship and other ways to enhance your financial and personal position send Mr. Curshen an email to jonathan@itpa.org or call his offices at 800-620-1887.

Types of Accounts
There are basically two major types of bank accounts, all the rest are variations. They are demand accounts and time deposits. A demand account is any account which the funds are available immediately on demand. Checking and standard savings accounts are examples.
Time deposit accounts are the other type of accounts: you open this type of account for a specific amount of time with the promise of a set return. There are usually severe penalties for early withdrawal of funds. Certificates of deposit (CDs) are an example of this type of account.
Investment accounts, money market and tiered interest accounts are variations using a combination of each of the two afore mentioned accounts. They are often tied to a specific investment medium such as stocks, bonds, precious metals, etc. as an index to determine the interest. It works offshore the same as it does at home, the longer the period of time and the greater the amount of money you deposit the better interest they will pay you.
You must decide how you will best use your offshore accounts. If you need the funds to be accessible at all times, for example to run your business, then you want to use a demand account of some form. If it is to safely tuck away your nest egg out of harms way then a more long-term higher-interest account might suit you better.
Opening the Account
Each bank will have an application form to fill out, and the applications are fairly standard. Worldwide banks are required to do a “due diligence” on all of their clients. The application will require at least a letter of reference from your current bank, a notarized copy of your passport, and an original utility bill with your name and address. If you are opening a corporate account they will require further documentation of the corporation.
There are several methods you can use to open the account, a wire transfer is the fastest and most common means, but you may also use checks, or cash. Depending on the size of the account, some banks prohibit the use of large sums of cash, however.
What does all this mean to me?
Once you have ascertained what your primary financial goals are, you can begin to make intelligent decisions concerning where best to go with your offshore banking needs.
There are great differences in the various jurisdictions world wide, from the tax structure, to the banking privacy laws, and you need to stay current: The US and the EU now have signed treaties with many of the formerly secure offshore jurisdictions, like The Bahamas. They now permit information sharing amongst them, thus destroying the ability of once strong offshore jurisdictions to maintain their status as legitimate offshore havens. It is because of this that you are often better off with the less well known and less popular countries that don’t attract so much attention.
Countries worth considering for their privacy laws and strict regulation of their banks as well as their stable independent governments are, Austria, Bermuda, Curacao, Denmark, Liechtenstien, Panama, and Switzerland. You can find out about the various jurisdictions our firm recommends on our website: http://www.redseamanagement.com.
When you will need to establish an offshore account, consider using several banks in different jurisdictions. In order to choose the best bank in the best jurisdiction to meet your objectives you could spend days researching the various jurisdictions and banks. But why would you want to? There are places to find this information handily, like our own RedSea Management website.
Closing Thoughts
Please understand that you are not opening an offshore account to get rich. It will, however, help you keep what you have already worked so hard to get, and possibly make you some money as well. Offshore banking is a tool to use as part of entire financial plan. Like any tool it will aid you greatly when used properly and with proper counsel. Like any other tool, a poor selection can cause you great hardship if used unwisely or without knowledge of its implications.
The basic formula is quite simple. By moving part of your wealth to an offshore jurisdiction you can increase your privacy, protect your money from those who seek to take it, and increase the return on your investments by broadening your investment options. By doing this you will hedge all your financial positions.

SEC Litigation Release
SECURITIES AND EXCHANGE COMMISSION
Litigation Release No. 18092 / April 16, 2003
SEC SUES FREEDOM GOLF CORPORATION’S PRESIDENT, CONTROL PERSON, AND PROMOTERS IN INTERNET PUMP-AND-DUMP SCHEME
Securities and Exchange Commission v. C. Jones & Company, Carter Allen Jones, Timothy J. Miles, Gaylen P. Johnson, and Jonathan Curshen, Civil Action No. 03-WM-0636(PAC) (District of Colorado, filed April 11, 2003)
The Securities and Exchange Commission (“Commission”) announced that it filed an action for injunctive relief in United States District Court in Denver, Colorado on April 11, 2003, charging four individuals with securities fraud for their participation in an alleged “pump and dump” scheme involving Freedom Golf Corporation’s (“Freedom Golf”) common stock. The defendants are Freedom Golf president Gaylen P. “John” Johnson; Timothy J. Miles, a principal shareholder; and two promoters, Carter Allen Jones and Jonathan Curshen. Jones’ company, C. Jones & Company, also was charged.
The complaint alleges that in the fall of 1999, Miles provided a broker-dealer with false information to be filed with the National Association of Securities Dealers in order to initiate public trading of securities issued by Freedom Golf’s predecessor company. The complaint also alleges that from late January through early March 2000, Miles paid two stock promoters, Jones and Curshen, to hype Freedom Golf via the Internet, telephone, and mail. Specifically, the complaint alleges that Jones arranged for the dissemination of between 25 and 35 million unsolicited “spam” e-mails touting Freedom Golf in February 2000. During the same period, the complaint continues, Johnson created baseless profit, revenue, and expense projections for Freedom Golf that Jones published on his company’s Internet website, and that Curshen publicized on an Internet message board. In addition, the complaint alleges that Jones and Curshen failed to disclose the full amount that Miles was paying them to tout Freedom Golf, in violation of the federal securities laws.
The complaint further alleges that Freedom Golf’s stock price and trading volume was pumped up to artificially inflated levels as a result of the false and misleading e-mails and baseless price projections. According to the complaint, during the course of this manipulation, Jones, Miles, and Curshen all sold shares of Freedom Golf stock and reaped profits of more than $500,000.
The Commission’s complaint alleges that as a result of the conduct described above, C. Jones, Jones, Miles, Johnson, and Curshen violated the antifraud provisions of the federal securities laws, and C. Jones, Jones, and Curshen also violated the anti-touting provisions of the federal securities laws. The Commission seeks permanent injunctions, civil money penalties, and penny stock bars against each of the defendants, and the disgorgement of ill-gotten gains plus prejudgment interest against C. Jones, Jones, Miles, and Curshen.
In a related proceeding, the Commission instituted administrative proceedings against Freedom Golf on April 7, 2003. The proceedings will consider whether to suspend or revoke the registration of Freedom Golf’s stock. For more information, see Exchange Act Release No. 47636 (April 7, 2003). |

SEC LITIGATION RELEASE LAZARUS/TURNEY DOING BUSINESS AS NEW UTOPIA
UNITED STATES SECURITIES AND EXCHANGE COMMISSION
LITIGATION RELEASE NO. 16110 \ April 9, 1999
SECURITIES AND EXCHANGE COMMISSION v. LAZARUS R. LONG (a/k/a Howard Turney), individually and doing business as NEW UTOPIA Civil Action No. 99CV0257BU(M), USDC, ND/OK, (Tulsa Division)
Today Judge Michael Burrage, United States District Judge for the
Northern District of Oklahoma, Tulsa Division, granted the Commission’s
request for an emergency restraining order to halt a fraudulent
nationwide Internet scheme involving the offer and sale of a bogus $350
million bond offering. According to the Commission’s Complaint, Lazarus
R. Long, a/k/a/ Howard Turney, and doing business as New Utopia, used an
Internet website called “New Utopia” to entice and solicit investor funds
for the development of a supposed new “tax haven” country called “New
Utopia.” This new country would be located approximately 115 miles west
of the Cayman Islands. According to its website, New Utopia is a country
that will rise from the Caribbean on giant concrete platforms built on an
underwater land mass. In addition to offering the unregistered bonds,
Long represented that currency investments in New Utopia would yield up
to a 200% market rate of return. “Prince” Long used E-mail to tell
investors that they could buy a New Utopia government 5 year note at
9.5%, and invited them to become charter citizens of the new country.
Long has also touted his Internet offering through the use of print and
radio media, including the London Times, Dallas Morning News and a
nationally syndicated radio show. The complaint reveals that Long’s
Internet website received over 100,000 Internet “hits.” The site itself
is over 100 (printed) pages with electronic links to numerous other
sites.
The order entered on April 8, 1999, by Judge Burrage, temporarily
enjoins Long from violating the federal securities laws, and includes
orders freezing all funds raised by Long and requiring Long to make an
accounting of funds received. Judge Burrage has scheduled another
hearing for April 13, 1999, to further consider the Commission’s
temporary restraining order and its request to have Long surrender his
passport and repatriate any funds held at any bank or financial
institution not subject to the jurisdiction of the Court.
In its complaint, the Commission alleges that Long violated Sections
5(a), 5(c) and 17(a) of the Securities Act of 1933 and Section 10(b) of
the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, and Rule 10b-5 thereunder. The
Commission also seeks an order permanently enjoining Long, an order
requiring disgorgement of all wrongfully obtained profits, with
prejudgment interest, and civil penalty. |

Who controlled Triparoo, S.A.?? — SEC wants to know
SEGMENTS FROM REQUEST FOR JUDICIAL ASSISTANCE
The SEC Complaint alleges that Freedom Golf hired Curshen, among others, to promote Freedom Golf. The Complaint further alleges Timothy Miles paid Curshen by transferring at least 125,000 shares of Freedom golf sotck to an account at Union Securities in the name of Triparoo, S.A. – a Costa Rican nominee Curshen actually controlled. The SEC alleges Curshen touted Freedom Golf stock to the brokerage community and directly to investors through telephone calls and Internet message boards…
Curshen denies the Commission’s claim. He has been a consultant to a business known as Red Sea Management. He states he did not participate in any schemes to artificially inflate the price of the common stock of Freedom Golf…
According to Curshen, Red Sea Management did have a client in 1999 and 2000 who established a brokerage account at Union Securities under the name of Triparoo, S.A. through the firm. This client agreed to promote Freedom Golf in exchange for 125,000 shares of Freedom Golf and asked Mr. Curshen to participate in telephone conferences with Miles and others to discuss the company and make arrangements for payment.
Both the Commission and Curshen wish to examine Trevor Koenig and Joe Fernando who were employees of Union Securities in 199 9 and 2000 and either supervised or handled transactions in the Triparoo brokerage account at Union Securities |

Advantage Technologies, Inc. (the”Company”) was originally organized as
a Nevada corporation on September 21, 1993 under the name Logistics Distribution
Systems International Group, Inc. Under the Company’s management at that time,
of which our current management was not a part, the Company’s original business
was to investigate for possible acquisition various business opportunities. The
current management of the Company is not aware of what business, if any, was
carried at that time. On November 8, 1995, the Company’s name was changed to
Vortices, Inc. Under the then current management, the Company’s business was the

On April 21, 1998, the Company merged with Simulator Systems, Inc., a
Nevada corporation, which was the surviving corporation of a prior merger on
April 15, 1997 between Simulator Systems, Inc. and Marksmanship Training
Centers, Inc., an Oregon corporation.
After the merger with Simulator Systems, Inc., the business of the
Company became the development and marketing of a computerized rifle/pistol
simulator which uses real weapons to provide the user with an accurate and
realistic shooting experience with the use of live ammunition. The user aims a
weapon at a video display screen and fires at a target on the screen. The system
also allows the user to obtain a computer printout of shots fired indicating
accuracy.
On April 5, 1999, the Company changed its name to Casino Pirata.com
Ltd. In February, 1999, the Company entered into agreements with WorldNet
Casinos.com, Inc. pursuant to which the Company owned and operated an Internet
